WSH Approved Code of Practice on Chief Executive’s and Director’s WSH
Duties (rerun 12) |
Due to the unusual increase of WSH accidents in 2021
& 2022, MOM introduced a number of measures to address this & the
resulting high fatality rate. Separately, WSHC announced the launch of the Code
of Practice (COP) on Chief Executives & Board of Directors’ WSH duties on
10 Sept 2022 (which was to be gazetted as Approved
COP [ACOP]) and issued a set of related FAQs. This is timely as WSH matters
should be of concern to & should involve the top management & BOD. This course will
discuss the ACOP & related FAQs and their impact on top management, CEOs,
Directors, Workplace Safety Officers and even PEs, Engineers, Contractors,
etc. The course will also provide pointers to comply with ACOP and to contain
any possible legal liabilities. |
