including Environmental Public Health Act, Environmental Protection &
Management Act, Fire Safety Act, Radiation Protection Act and Sewerage &
Drainage Act; 5. The consequences of violations of Environmental Laws &
Regulations : Criminal & Civil Liabilities; 6. Duties & responsibilities of PEs, Engineers, Technical
Professionals, Managers, Business Owners & Contractors in relation to
environmental matters; 7. Consequences of breach of duties and suggested possible defences. |

Mr.Lee Kwok Weng, B.Eng. (Mech.)(S'pore), M.Sc.(Ind.Eng)(NUS), DipBA(NUS), GradDip Mktg.(MIS), LLB(Hons)(Bucks), LLM(Lond), Barrister-at-Law, Advocate & Solicitor (Retired), Supreme Court of Singapore, Accredited Arbitrator & Mediator, MMIS, FIES, Honorary Legal Advisor, IES & SISO, is currently in private legal practice, a senior lawyer, was in continuous private legal practice for almost 29 years running his own law firm before his retirement from legal practice. A well sought after speaker
& trainer, Mr. Lee teaches law & related subjects in a number of
tertiary institutions including IES
Academy. For many years, he was an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty
of Business Admin, National University of Singapore, teaching Business Law in
the MBA programme as well as Adjunct
Lecturer in NTU & BCA Academy (before that, CITI). He specialises in Business Contracts, Negligence, Safety, Environmental, Information Technology and Engineering, Construction & Building Laws. He is a very experienced lecturer and trainer and is well-versed in the technical field, marketing and management practice too.
Mr.Lee brings with him considerable industrial project and business development management experience, having worked for 12 years in the public & private sectors as engineer, project engineer & project manager including in a leading Multi-national engineering and construction corporation serving the energy, oil and gas industries onshore and offshore. |
